Midwest Charity Horse Show Cancelling 2020 Show
The Board of Directors of the Midwest Charity Horse Show Association have made the decision to cancel the Midwest Charity Horse Show, June 9-13, 2020 in Springfield, Ill., at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
The annual Midwest Charity Horse Show, that both horseman and central Illinois have come to love and look forward to each year, must consider the well being of its exhibitors, staff, volunteers, vendors and spectators. Midwest recognizes this is an enormous disappointment for the equine and local communities but believes this is the right decision for the organization, during this unprecedented time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The show remains committed to its charity, SIU School of Medicine's Camp COCO, the community of Springfield, Ill. and the Illinois State Fairgrounds venue and will share details soon of its 80th anniversary show in 2021. Midwest is excited to welcome everyone back to its village-like equine complex and the Coliseum of Champions.
