The 2020 Good Hands Junior Exhibitor Final Open to Any Junior Exhibitor Interested in Participating.
Mid-America Horse Show Association (MAHSA) announced that qualification for The Good Hands Junior Exhibitor 2020 Final is now open to any Junior Exhibitor interested in participating in the 2020 Final. The requirement to achieve a certain placing in The Good Hands Final qualifying classes has been removed for the 2020 year. Junior Exhibitor status is defined as exhibitors who will not have reached their 18th birthday by December 1 of this year.
MAHSA traditionally hosts The Good Hand National Finals at the Mane Event Horse Show. The 2020 Mane Event Horse Show is scheduled for October 15-18 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois.
Mid-America Horse Show Association has been the proud owner of The Good Hands Program since 2015. The Good Hands Finals originated in 1929 at the National Horse Show held at Madison Square Garden in New York City making it the oldest of the equitation finals.

Mid-America is one of the largest charter clubs of the American Saddlebred Horse Association with members who are owners, trainers, exhibitors and admirers of these horses and ponies, as well as riders of Saddle Seat Equitation.
The organization produces three shows a year and oversees a regional circuit of 25 affiliated A, A/B and B rated shows in Illinois and surrounding states where members earn points toward year-end awards.
Mid-America is a charter member of the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) and is affiliated with the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), the Horsemen's Council of Illinois, and supports the American Saddlebred Museum.
