The Missouri Horse Shows Association Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the MHSA Stock Seat Medallion Finals will be held November 1, 2015, in Sedalia, Mo. at the Missouri State Fairgrounds as part of the Central States Benefit fall horse show. Show manager, Lynn McCallister, a strong supporter of educational opportunities and horse shows, has created a schedule that will allow riders to attend one day or for the entire show and, either way, qualify for and compete in the Finals. The top ten finishers in the Finals will be recognized and the winning rider will receive substantial scholarship awards for turning in the winning ride.
Riders who have already qualified for the Finals and those who have not will have an opportunity to practice and qualify for the Finals in one last qualifying class on Sunday morning. The Finals, which will be judged by a panel of judges brought in specially for this event, will be held later that afternoon.
