47th annual Denver Queen City Horse Show and first annual fundraiser dinner to benefit Colorado Horsecare Foodbank

The Colorado American Saddlebred Horse Assocation (www.ColoradoSaddlebred.com) celebrates its 47th Annual State Championship Horse Show. The show features the 1st Annual Fundraiser Dinner on July 18th, 2015, to benefit the Colorado Horsecare Foodbank (www.HorseFoodbank.org). The Foodbank is one of just 3 in the nation. The mission of the Foodbank is to help keep horses with their families during times of temporary hardship. People may apply for assistance, and must have a written plan to get back on their feet. The Foodbank will assist with feed, farrier and vet care for periods of three months or more if warranted while the horse remains with its family. In the event the family is truly unable to get back on its feet enough to keep their horses, the Foodbank will help the horse remain with its family long enough for the family to make careful and appropriate decisions with regard to the horse’s future.  During the past six years, the Colorado Horsecare Foodbank has distributed over 1000 tons of hay to families, as well as to victims of the Black Forest Fires and Colorado floods of 2013.

Plated dinners will be served to ringside premium tables. A unique opportunity for an elegant evening of entertainment, benefitting a worthy cause!
