On March 4-6, 2016 the third Riding Instructor Workshop will be held in Louisville Kentucky at the Rock Creek Clubhouse. Betsy Webb has developed a workshop format which encourages riding instructors, trainers and barn managers from across the country to come together for a weekend of networking, learning and problem solving.
Topics will include making your lesson program more profitable, expanding your client base, extending your clients’ shelf life, encouraging your clients to show and buy, learning new and innovative teaching techniques, the best ways to incorporate social media, as well as sharing knowledge with outside professionals on marketing, accounting, insurance, websites and so much more!
With the motto, “Encourage | Enlighten | Enliven” in mind, the 2016 workshop promises to be an educational and inspirational event for riding instructors and trainers to develop and reach their desired goals. The workshop includes a meet and greet and dinner on Friday evening and a full schedule of speakers and activities on Saturday and Sunday. An exciting addition to this years’ events includes the opportunity to take the American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA) certification exam on Friday. Workshop speakers include Doug Emerson of The Profitable Horseman and Maureen Campbell of Majestic Oaks Hackney Farm, among many other exciting industry professionals.
Workshop registration includes wine and appetizers on Friday, dinner Friday, lunch and dinner Saturday and lunch Sunday, as well as an RIW Vest and various materials and handouts during the workshop.
