Only three nominations remain for purchase to the $100,000 2023 Standardbred Roadster 100 to be contested at the UPHA/American Royal National Championship Horse Show, says Robertson Equine Sales CEO Jimmy Robertson. One each is available via online auction at RobertsonEquineOnline.com on the last Tuesday of the next three months: May 30, June 27, and July 25; the minimum bid starts at $7,500.
The most lucrative Standardbred show competition was launched in 2022, sponsored by The Standardbred Journal. Happy Trails Sonny, driven and trained by Debbie Foley for Silver Brook Stables Inc., of Louisville, Ky., sped to the win in the inaugural 10-horse class.
