Second Annual Midwest AOT Clinic to Be Held October 15-16

Details

Published: May 09, 2016

Following the success of last year’s AOT clinic, a second clinic for amateur owner trainers has been planned for October 15-16 with WGC trainer Smith Lilly as the clinician. The event will be held at Indian Summer Farm in Watseka, IL, just 90 minutes south of Chicago and 4 hours from Louisville.

“We had such a great response to the clinic last year,” says Tiffani Frey, the clinic organizer. “Everyone was so enthusiastic about participating, and the feedback was great. We’re really looking forward to learning from Smith.”

The clinic will open on Friday evening with a cocktail meet and greet for attendees. Saturday and Sunday will feature sessions on shoeing, action devices, bits and bridles, tails, bitting rigs, long lining, ringsmanship, and chiropractic care, along with individual lessons for those who bring their horses. Lunch will be provided both days, with a catered dinner on Saturday.

Only 8 horses will be accepted and auditors are welcome. Space is already filling up, so it is encouraged that interested participants register early. For more information and to register, please visit www.aotclinic.com.
