The Blue Ridge Horse Show announced today that two $500 awards will go to the grooms of the winning horses in classes 169, Roadster Pony - Junior Exhibitor Championship, and 180, ASB Three-Gaited Park - Adult Amateur Championship. These groom's awards will be sponsored by Dr. John Cummins and Dr. Jennifer Stowe.
The groom will also be mentioned in all communications of the victory and will appear in the winning photo of its press releases.
Liz Holmes, show manager, stated that “we recognize that grooms are often the unsung heroes of the equestrian sport and deserve to be honored for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their riders, and especially the horses they care for."
