jessica curlThe American Saddlebred Museum invites the public to the Museum on Friday, October 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to meet Jessica Curl, author of the new children’s book Love: The Pony that Could. Ms. Curl will be signing copies of her book.

This book is about twin sisters who visit their grandparent’s farm and meet a newborn colt. The girls name him Love and soon find out he has a foot injury that keeps him from playing with the other ponies. The girls begin to care for Love and nurse him back to health. The story is based on the author’s childhood with her sister Ashley Re’ Curl and their shared love of horses.

The book is illustrated by Ellie Behrmann with original artwork by Jessica Simien Curl. Love: The Pony that Could will be available for purchase in the Museum’s Gift Shop and online store.
